I cant criticise it as i havent seen it yet

one thing i did notice is that from the trailer it seems
like he has contrived a plot where he can get a cast in
close proximity, like the diner scenes in all his films and
write the sort of dialogue heavy stuff he really like, stuff
that i dont think he is as good at that he thinks he is. I
bet he has been wanking with excitement at writing some
dialogue for Bruce Dern.

basically its looks like reservoir with stetson hats, but
thats really over simplifying it, i might actually like the
film if i go see it i have no idea.

when i saw the trailer it almost looked like a parody than a
real film, i know he is really into corny blaxplotation
films and stuff, but all his films look like parodies now
rather than semi serious films, suppose he has always been
like that,

Kill Bill was his last one I really enjoyed. Inglorious
Basterds was a bit meh, apart from Christpoh Walz's
performance.

Django was OK, and again I really enjoy Walz's character.

LAZY_TITLE

if you skip to any point in this video there is a good
chance it will be Tarantino chundering away with all the
other directors looking bemused

i thought it was pretty terrible, but fun too, so okay
overall

cool snow.
impressive he got morricone to compose for him

the last Tarrantino that made me think 'this is pretty good'
was Jacky Brown. somehow i thought Django Unchained stood
out from the rest of those movies after Jacky Brown, maybe
because of DiCaprio

(because it's supposed to be terrible)

anyway, hot of the press:
Golden Globe Best original score, motion picture - The
Hateful Eight, Ennio Morricone

tbh: part of the surprise for me was learning Morricone was
even alive. though i now remember people going to see him
live, last year

I love Tarantino's passion in interviews.

hateful eight is out as a DVDSCR, free download on torrent

just watched Death Proof, thought it was a slasher knife
horror movie so avoided it for years and years because i
dont like horror films

turns out it's more about women and cars, people sit around
talking for ages but there's this really fucking amazing
scene in the middle. kurt russell is a sick sick cunt. then
you see some more car scenes and they are pretty fucking
good. there are way too many references to other films and
it's very tarantino self indulgent. but it's fucking good
actually. zoe bell kicks ass.
