I just had to see a John Candy film this Christmas, his
great joyous spirit resonates with Christmas for me.

planes trains and automobiles and uncle buck. : )

Do you have a Christmas movie favorite ?

I have always loved A Charlie Brown Christmas, since long before the
shitting hipsters ironically rediscovered it

I like The Hudsucker Proxy for a new years movie, a
delightful bit of fluff that doesn't get nearly enough
credit

I'm a sucker for "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation",
sorry if that disappoints anybody.

Well, if there's an occult element, so much the better.

I haven't seen the movie and suspect the poster guy just had
a creative moment... now I do have an itch to watch it and
see if the other characters correspond to the archetypes of
the major arcana. I can't even call them trumps anymore,
he's ruined that too.

done in any film or room of ppl even.

i'm actually glad it hasn't been on telly all the time now,
it's not 'worn out'... went to see it in nursery school,
still remember the little box of smarties i had.

it all.
