I want to hear what the artist wants to give. It's a nice gesture to ask the fans what they want once in a while, but for example I care more about what Aphex has, and wants to give, as opposed to what the fans want. Imagine fans of Bacon, or Da Vinci, not that they existed the way fans do today, having their say in their work! It's about what one has, and wants to give. That makes it that much more special than a compilation put together by fans. |
