Yea. Sarek played a Klingon in the motion picture as well.

Also Roddenberry often gave new roles to former star trek
cast in later trek productions like TNG and ds9

Well, Roddenberry died before dsn, and I don't have a list
of repurposed former cast, but there are some

This is good. I've seen most tos episodes, but 32 to 25
years ago.

Imagine, a frequency modulation to make people fight with
one another.

One thing that pisses me off with these tos episodes is the
scene changes are not the original. They're computer
animated. On one episode I noticed they used a computer
animated satellite to cast a beam on the planet. The beam
would have come from the ship itself or a tin can piece of
shit prop for a satellite. Even some of the phaser
encounters are computer animated substitutes.

They are minor touch ups, but they still replace part of the
experience of the original production. Probably some sound
effect tweaks here and there as well. Maybe just along with
the aforementioned touch ups. Heh

I started watching the animated series on Netflix, features
most of the actors from TOS doing voices. One of the
episodes has species from Larry Niven's known space stories,
how cool is that?

I kinda like the close mic soft talking in ani series, and
most the cast recorded in different parts of the world, and
posted their recordings in, hence it seems a bit odd at
times.

the TOS Animated series could be remade as cgi and into
movies , using the voices of the original actors and their
likness

here is SW harrison fords face recreated from a photo graph.
im sure they can do a young william shatner and leonard
nimoy.

and with thsi cgi systems

we may have the original star trek crew back in the cinema
in the next 10 years.

would you go to see it if it was the real voices?

Did a little searching around and found that the original
scenes and sounds can still be viewed best on this set

the original series was shot on 35mm film

I wonder what the resolution is on this set?

here are a few clips to show what it could have been like:

wide screen

Cool shots!

I'm not sure about details but there's three sets of the
complete series that are of interest. The Japanese Laser
disc set, the 2004 DVD set pre-remaster, and this bluray set
with optional CGI scenes or original scenes and original
sound.

I almost want to get the 2004 DVD set. Simple, and
pre-cgi-remaster. But I think I'm going to buy the bluray.
79 episodes I could watch forever

I am sure the blu ray will not disappoint you.
its worth it for the extra pixels. as it was shot on film so
you'll be amazed at times of the quality.

send updates!!

live long and prosper chachymaster3000. : P

Klingon proverb that tells us revenge is a dish that is best
served cold? It is very cold... in space.
