Says it in his official site's tweet in Aurum's post, big. If it is a quality thing then fair enough, but Dobbin seems ok with it so far. I'll bet bottom dollar it's an ethical thing for him and he feels hurt because of his 'CAMPAIGN' in which in his mind wasn't just a polite way of bootlegging, and more HIS gift to fellow AFX fans. |

tempted to go on a rant but the whole response is far too predictable. i knew it was a boot. and who the hell doesn't have any boots in their collection? and because it's god himself and he has different rules. (you think about that one) i wanted it on vinyl so i bought it. and tbh listening to it BECAUSE i bought a physical release has made me appreciate it a whole lot more because ive played it more. and now i can play it to my vinyl mates and stick it in a mix too. nothing more to say. thou if i was talking to people irl everything ive just said would be taken for granted. |

I can't believe (well, yes, I can actually) how fucking dense you lot are - the Kickstarter was in NO WAY a bootleg - Richard himself authorized it, and HE profited from it. I also love how I get slighted because I helped fellow fans... typical xlt. Do some basic research before you ramble on... And anyone who really supports the artists wouldn't buy a bootleg - I see it as worse than piracy since not only is the artist losing money, but someone else is profiting from it. And just from a purely quality standpoint, why would you buy a record cut from compressed digital files that were recorded from a record in the first place? |

The mastering of cat 23 was shit, and it was clearly played numerous times and/or wasn't cleaned well before recording. and then you send out #16 fucking email updates. more than half of which were after we aall got our shit rip. I'm well aware he gave it the OK, and It's decent he got something out of it, even though I'm sure that wasn't the reason for him doing it. However, all you did was pimp out a vinyl rip of an unreleased album. The fact you never made anything out of it doesn't change that it's just a poor rip of a never to be released album. This Vinyl bootleg although cheeky isn't taking any money from AFX and I doubt will earn much from its limited sales for going through the effort to put it on vinyl. I find it funny you're now trying to jump on the latest unreleased stuff and come up with a possible vinyl proposal for a WATMM chosen 'now that's what I call AFX soundcloud dump' compilation... a genuinely tacky prospect. |

I get the hate for Joyrex... that being said without his 'effort' to get the kickstarter going I personally may have never heard the tunes from that LP. I may even go as far as to say the the reception from that may have influenced or help Richard decide to start dropping old unreleased tunes on soundclown. |
