Good movie. Forgot what it was called until now.

It was strongly recommended to me by djammax ages ago
(remember him?). It's on my computer. I'm sure it's great,
and forgot I had it. Expect a Dusty review soon.

Keep in mind that it's an Aussie film from the 80s. Which is
sort of like a Canadian film from the 80s. Low budget and
not to the Hollywood standard

the trailer looks cool

i've been watching scifi movies lately, some old ones as
well. it's funny how some/most of them are quite visionary
in terms of technology, but they all fail big time in
'predicting' what the fashion (clothes, hair styles) would
be like in the future

I'll take that in consideration, but considering the
premise, it doesn't seem like it needs a huge budget, and
I'm kind of glad it's not Hollywood. It's what makes these
films charming.

Hey tolstoyed! I watched Serenity the other day. It was
really enjoyable. I hope you're well!

lot of the times the fashion styles are just kind of over
the top examples of their era or seemingly random
combinations of actual and previous ones.
guess its just a lot easier to showcase technology since we
all long for certain innovations or improvements of existing
bulky stuff e.g.
maybe designers for sci-fi clothes should take a more
functional take on aswell so it would just make more sense
thus making them more believable...

it's not an Australian film, it was produced and filmed in
New Zealand. it's also one of the best sci-fi films ever
made.
