it has bruce willis and samuel l. jackson..made by the dude
that did sixth sense, it'S about a guy who miraculously
survives a train crash with no injuries, while everyone else

Ross: Your opinions are fine, I actually found the movie
terrible. I never liked Sixth Sense, and I was so
dissapointed with this movie. It got so much hype, so a back
when it came into theatres A friend and I went to go see it
during the afternoon, we almost walked out of the place many
times, it was just horrible. I didn't understand why anyone
really liked it so much, when it had a lame, and incredibly
stupid story line, and it was just... glossy, not real
enough, and the plot was pathetic in my opinion. It didn't
do anything for me, except take my 8 dollars.

ok, I have seen that, complete crap, but what do you expect
from a mainstream high budget over hyped and rated film?

I was harsh giving it 3/10 when I left the cinema, but on
reflection it was a lil better mebbe 4/10

Ross on 2001-06-30 00:27 [#00011470]

well, i completely avoided it on theatre, and watched it the
other day when my parents had rented it...I felt that early
in the movie the acting was a bit cold and sterile, but it
progressively got better..and they had a pixies song in one
scene, made me happy

I liked sixth sense but I thought Unbreakable was kinda
silly. It started off pretty good and it´s well-made and
all but after a while the story got a bit out of hand
really.

i just bought unbreakable on dvd
i really enjoyed this film.
i like the dark/somber mood of the film. also, i really
enjoy the comic strip feel of the whole thing. pay attention
to the photography and you will see what i mean. my
girlfriend hated it though so i think it is really hit and
miss; you either like it or hate it.

oh and on the note of this not having to do with aphex
twin,
fuck it
i like aphex twin, i like movies,
i like to hear what other movies aphex twinners like.
hmm sounds like a new thread...

i have to admit i found unbreakable an ace film - the ending
was just superb - but i don't want to ruin it for others. i
reckon the the idea of an imperfect (ala not a great
family-man) superhero was well executed.

|REFLEX| from Western Canada on 2001-06-30 08:07 [#00011502]

Naw.... man that comic strip feel to it was fucking horrible
to actually see on screen.. I was like "what the FUCK is
this!?" ...... I can't believe that .. its my opinion of
course.. but I hated that movie, and Im a fan of many a
great films.. this was.. a tryhard.
