...GOOOD! actually it's the best hiphop i have ever heard
(mainly cuz i aint that much into hiphop)
the beats are fantastic, and their dobbeltempo-flow kicks
arse...
Check em out now!

they're good, tho their lyrics kinda confuse me... they're
not overtly political, they don't fit into the "conscious"
movement, they're not expert tongue twisters like mad skillz
or gift of gab, they're not brilliant lyricists like del or
j-live, kind of a combo of all of the above..

"focused" has real nice beat

yes!!!!! the new album is fucking great! the only hip-hop
i listened to once in a while was commercial american
hip-hop. so it took a little time to get used to this kind
of hip-hop, but it was worth it.

yeah it takes some time to get into em.

funnyiest MCs out there right now!!

Tron man speaks is mad funny :)

there is so much of it
granted a lot of it is crap but..
if you need exposure check out:

i heard Kool Keith before (haven't heard his Dr. Octogon
stuff tho)...i'm not that much into the gangsta-scene of
hiphop. the hiphop thats all about psycadeelics and fantasy
is cool! it's because i'm more into metal and electronic
than hiphop

Dr Octagon rules, but I think my fave Kool Keith album is
his with Kutmasta Kurt "masters of Illusion" Fucking awesome
shit and his rapping is incredible And has a great intro: I
have excellent news for the world: there is no such thing as
trip-hop...

have something to say about that so he would.

is different...

dj shadow does not consider himself trip hop. i heard a
great story of him going to a record store and moving all
his c.d.s out of the trip hop section and putting them in
the hip hop section.

Dr Octogon is by far my favorite Kool Keith work. i have not
heard master of illusion though. from what i have heard
though i think Keiths best stuff came when he worked with
automator

Evolume: that's a funny story. He's closer to the original
hip hop aesthetic than anyone I think. That could be
pseudo-intellectual, petit bourgoise crap though.

but that's what you get for putting stuff out on Mo' Wax
