Wonderful new music. Only one track has lyrics, which isn't
a bad thing, but I enjoy the instrumental stuff much more.

Anybody else check it out yet?

It's well worth checking out. It is a fine send off to
Richard Wright.
Just very cool to hear NEW stuff from the group.
IMHO, I doubt they will tour on this album, which is kind of
sad.

Oh Well.......

thanks for the reminder, it's November yet ? wow time goes
fast

"Only one track has lyrics" = I like it already, I'm more
into instrumental stuff. Though a Gilmour vocals track here
or there wouldn't hurt at all.

sounding a bit adult contemporary, sort of dire straits or
something but only heard a few tracks at the moment but i
will persist because its floyd.

I do like a bit of classic Pink Floyd but come on! They
should have called this album Flogging A Dead Dinosaur...

Indeed I am, as I recently stated in my reply to you in the
Smoken Weed thread. I'll be there with my brother to enjoy
some Autechre and Dronefest and other things... We arrive on
Friday and have festival tickets for Saturday and Sunday. We
will NOT be listening to Pink Floyd for the duration of our
stay though. Substantial amounts of various herbal products
will be consumed and Jesus might come up as a topic in our
conversations. :-)
