U2 album forced into iTunes library

I became very upset when cycling through albums on my car
stereo to find a copy of u2's latest album which was spotted
by a friend to which I said "that's not mine" it sounded
like a feeble attempt to cover up a secret desire for Irish
pop music. I refuted the fact that it's not my property by
insisting my iTunes library must have been compromised by
music terrorists. I now realise that it was forced into
500,000,000 people's iTunes library as a kind of
narcissistic gift from the artists. I am now going to sue
them on the grounds of social ridicule .

Anyone else noticed it?

It's over though, and hopefully this "mishap" won't continue
getting them the publicity it has for the past weeks.

Bono the great "apologised" to a punter who said it was
"rude".

He's a fool, that man. I want to think he means well and is
a tad naive, but it's just getting stupid.

It must be quite frustrating for them to keep turning out
the same sort of dross for 20 years, the truth is they are
basically and self perpetuating economy and loads of jobs
and lives depends on them making the same product again and
again, fair enough but why dont they find time to shut
themselves into that giant lemon for a few months and record
something radical, if you hear any of there music nowadays
they really sound dead inside

I thought the single sounded like U2 influenced by
Coldplay.

*shudders*

Yes i must admit i find coldplay to be very offensive, banal
music sort of cynically constructed to be played in Ikea or
on adverts, you sort of know the type of person who really
liked them before they even say it, i cant bring myself to
hate bono even if he is a clueless wanker, the guy out of
Coldplay i actively dislike im not even sure why

.. and wasn't it about the first time Bono heard the
Ramones?

And they came up with that.

Had to google to see what you meant.

"I found my voice through Joey Ramone," says Bono, "because
I wasn't the obvious punk-rock singer, or even rock singer.
I sang like a girl — which I'm into now, but when I was 17
or 18, I wasn't sure. And I heard Joey Ramone, who sang like
a girl, and that was my way in."

Joey Ramone sang like a girl? What fucking tool.

I'm guessing he's talking about pitch? Idiot.

maybe it was incentive to get U2 to play at that Apple
thing recently, cos U2 didn't think they already had enough
ways to ram their tracks down peoples earholes
tax avoidance, sweatshops & all that i can kinda come to
terms with but U2 WHY APPLE WHY

After my Amiga 500 began my love story with Apple. Now
they're starting to really disappoint me. They had something
good going but now it seems to be about world dominance at
any cost.

Go to the next U2 concert, pay for a seat upfront, then when
they're playing, throw a bunch of your own CD-R albums on
stage. See how they like it.

Come to think of it... You might get taser'd in the face or
whatever, but when this gets media attention, your album is
gonna get mad promotion. Oh, fuck! NOW IS THE TIME!!!!!
