I hope IDM superstars, both those on XLT and not, aspire to the highest of standards. Unfortunately Mark Bell has slipped several times. e.g. on "Shut Down", there are those growling kicks which are supposed to come in at 1,4,7 in every bar. However in the second of each two bars, the growls seem a bit off, with a tiny delay. Also, just shy of one minute into "Mum Man" he cuts off the loud bit and uses a light beat loop. However this loop has a bit of reverb from the loud bit left in, which repeats at the start of each loop. I think this sounds silly and may be a mistake. Plus, he forgot to put a name down for Track 14 from Frequencies. I think that is a bit sloppy Post some of your own mistakes you've spotted in LFO tracks |
