i just had the idea new age music might be in the "musical uncanny valley " for alot of ppl ppl will form their own ideas of whats "good taste" and whats "bad taste" (personally i dont agree good and bad taste exists but thats neither here or there) and often new age will fall inbetween them in that "uncanny valley" ...its not something u think is really bad taste like nickelback or kenny G but its also not aphex twin or watever.... and like stuff in the visual uncanny valley it makes that visceral repulsion reaction like u had. i think stuff like oneohtrixes albums (replica and later) maybe do the same thing for ppl |

look. the reason that gaza and the west bank hasnt simply been given back to palestinian authority is because israel is still waiting for a palestinian authority that totally rejects antisemitism and isnt sponsored by anti israel regimes like iran. this has not happened. although israel has strong military it is actually a very small area and feels it has to 'buffer' the space around its perimeter to keep back attacks. israel is scared of all the arab states that tried to attack it. even now these arab states still fund violent attacks against innocents in israel. please look up the history. hamas is funded by syria russia and iran i think. |
