Oh. I was hoping it would give me a clue as to how good Lotus was but i've only seen Iron Maiden on telly. I bet that was fun and loud! Was Flying Lotus fun and loud? It's nice to see he's not just earning a bit of money being dj Flying Lotus. |

Flylo is absolutely amazing if you catch the right set. Sadly he tailors his sets to the crowd a lot and if you're at a show with a bunch of kiddies you're gonna get some pretty generic Djing. But he's also played some of the best sets I've ever seen. |

The old Jamie Lidell is actually great..the new stuff sucks, I agree. Neither do I like maximo park, but I don't agree with you on your opinion on flying lotus, go see his last show and return to this thread. |

Saw it this weekend just gone. Thought it was underwhelming to be honest, he blew me away a few years ago. Music was great of course but the visual element was just incoherent and at times nonsensical. Really wasn't an appropriate set for a festival either but that's neither here nor there. Having said that I watched it from the side of stage so didn't get the full impact of the depth perception trick, maybe it was great if you were stood in the right spot. Also this show is pretty much just playback right? That's what it looked like. |

I could walk through the whole hall..seen it from different spots and finally stood right in front of it where I'd see the 3D effects the best..besides that is was pretty drunk so maybe that influenced my opinion on how great it all was:-) |
