I never said i didn't care, or that not caring was the thing
to do you fucking prick. I'm just saying you're becoming a
broken record. You're boring and make talking about things
very tedious. You thinking that i think we shouldn't care
just goes to show what kind of brain you have.

youre saying all the things i've mentioned here aren't
interesting and its boring and i didn't do it in a proper
way so you put your hands over your ears and are screaming
at me to stop. youre being a nob.

chomsky or the victims of serb nationalism. pick one now.
you can't have both. youre a grown man and i dont need to
tell you any more. either you pick the denialism of chomsky
for the sake of feigning leftist radicalism or you ditch
chomsky and actually be a liberal modern adult. stop being a
fucking baby.

AMPI MAX. you're running to be a political figure or
something? What's wrong with italic... LOL! Nothing....
Just read the context in which i wrote that, then you might
undestand what i meant.

I guess i went overboard by mentioning the music message
board thing, but still... No need to go so deep about it
all. Though i respect your passion for all the political
speculating.

perhaps you'd get a better kick out of it on some political
oriented message board. give it a google.

There's nothing wrong with having political awareness, we
all have at least some understanding of what's happening,
but as Terrence Mckenna said, no one has a fucking clue
about what's really going on. The world is like a train
wreck waiting to happen, the human enterprise has an agenda
which is anti nature and it all revolves around a silly
monetary system, a power struggle for resources and absurd
faith in a supernatural god etc.

i could go on but i'll cut it short...

"stop being a fucky baby"

Or so now you think i 'hide from truth'? Because i'm
scared?. You seem to think my 'attack' was on knowledge, but
it wasn't. It was on you because you're a boring whiny cunt.
If there was a TAMPAX MIX Chomsky count, you've probably
typed the name 30 times here alone, and god knows how many
times elsewhere. Do you understand why i think you're
boring? You're not nearly as varied in your discourse as you
think. The funniest thing is no one is really defending
Chomsky and yet you act like we're all wrong, wrong and very
silly indeed. Blind to the truth. Your attitude alone i'm
sure puts people off engaging with you. Because you act like
you know and others don't. You think you're dissing
ignorance and foolishness but you just being a sanctimonious
prick. If you want to be a historian then you should spend
more time reading and less time spouting the same old turds.
And as i think larn put very well: let's not start acting as
if we actually had a fucking clue what's going on. And yes
pursuit of the truth (which i'm guessing is what you want to
do) is a good thing.

western angry young men are gonna be dangerous. they believe
in no ideology and say the world has gone to shit. they have
spent the last 10 years soaking up anti democracy bullshit
from polemicists that regurgitate the sentiments of pro
totalitarians and anti semites. thousands of westerners
(left and right) want to see their own societies experience
a kind of total cleansing of what they see as a hopelessly
corrupt society. this is a recipe for serious problems. all
you need is a big economic depression and these angry men
will be trouble. it will be a bad time for gays women and
jews to say the least.

don't be one of those angry men. instead u should join the
gays get naked and dance to better music.

this forum and many many many others are full of angry
depressed males who are going to be picked up by all kinds
of protest movements in the next couple of decades.
you are going to be incited to move against progressives in
the centrist left and right. you will suck it up and end up
being an anti semitic homophobe that hates girls and
equality. believe me a little bit

Who are you talking about? I have a good few friends i met
here over the years and each and every one of them is unique
in his or her views and taste. Often it's the humour that
got us to get to know each other. Why are you only content
when you generalise?

It's nice to want to work things out. But don't be lazy!

Look what happened in Egypt, you had millions of people
standing up to protest because they believed that something
needed to change, Mubarak almost got the death penalty for
trying to control the situation by shooting on innocent
civilians. They got him to step down, shit changed, these
people were angry and it was this movement which was a
catalyst for other movements which occurred soon after.

If people sit back and do nothing, then they will perish, if
they can't afford food, fuel, warmth, then they must do
something.

If people in the UK are upset by the banking system for
example, they need to stand up and do something, make a loud
voice so that the government and others civilians can be
aware of it. Protests do make a difference to political
decisions.

You talk about these recent angry young people of the
internet as if it's a new phenomenon happening after 911 etc

This shit has been going on for a long time, the only
difference is that you are old enough to understand it

the west is one of the only places on the planet people like

movements rising all over the world including my own country
that would like me to die and they are getting quite strong.
i know it seems silly but im a little scared actually.

I'm with you there. I'm more concerned about the economic
situation though. As the world becomes more developed
there's less need for economic growth on the demand side,
and growth will basically stop - yet our whole economy is
structured around growth in such a bullshit way such that
when the economy isn't growing everything goes to shit.

I reckon shit will hit the fan there this century and it
won't be pretty. Besides the pure economic issue, you might
get sketchy fascist political movements rising as a response
to it.

Also antibiotic resistance, that shit keeps me up at night.
And how climate change might fuck up agriculture and shit.
Oh well

Let's listen to Tomorrow's Harvest together yo

Hey guys, let's get up on a saturday morning with and log
onto our stupid little idm forum where we can whine and
complain about mindless politics and annoy everyone else
there safely, because it is not an actual plitics board and
no one who actually knows anything about it can't debate us
and get us to shut the fuck up, and regardless of the fact
that it is utterly irrelevant to this entire forum, hey at
least we mght get a glimmer of hope and attention in our
otherwise mundane and boring life.

i read this and it wasnt boring..thats something djhardcode
would think...im glad i dont think what djhardcode
thinks....

all i know was that egypt was tricky. the egyptian military
(who weren't exactly saints either) was on the side of the
secular protesters against mubarak. the protesters wouldnt
have stood a chance overthrowing him without military help
(i could be wrong but i dont think so). also remember
america was heavily involved which meant that the world was
watching over the entire situation

look at syria as an example. protest has left the syrian
people completely punished and obliterated. no one really
helped. in the west we are very safe and we can protest
without being slaughtered. in syria assad bombed hospitals.

clip

protest can only do so much. if you dont get some kind of
real military support to back your protest then tyrants will
probably just crush you.

but these are very typical worries and mostly for men in our
mid 20s (i presume?) who dont really have actual worries at
all. these are the kind of apocalyptic things that are
popular on discovery channel and stuff ykno. sry if it seems
like im talking down to you. youre mostly polite and
inquiring and + you also probably a better person than me.

The world is a stage for political gains and losses,
warzones are places for political change with potential gain
for things like wealth, control and resources. We have to
use strategies for entering these warzones, if there is
nothing we gain then why bother?

The general public took a stand against the government, you
can't take away the courage and heart those people had to
demand change.

Syria was a different situation and would have been a
complex situation to get involved with.

To be honest i am out of my element to discuss in depth
about these subjects because i don't really read that much
about this anymore

"if there is nothing we gain then why bother?"

i dont want to totally put u down (cos its a practical thing
to consider) but those sound like the isolationist ideas of
a really ugly time. thatcher/reagan era western governments
would keep dangerous dictatorships sweet and get their oil
money and do absolutely nothing about human rights abuses.
back when the left cared about iraq in the 80s they'd
campaign against politicians who said "if there is nothing
we gain then why bother?"

cheney and rumsfeld were the kind of men who thought like
this back then and still do today. pretty much everything
that went wrong in 2003 iraq was because of these 70s/80s
style conservative isolationists and their nasty attitudes
toward humanitarian intervention. just thought it might snap
u out of it if you realised u sounded like them. dont let
that insult u. i like u. but im right to point it out and u
should think about it
