Please!

I'm bored of being bored and a film before bed would be
lovely. But what?

:)

Try Godard's "Week End". At least it's something different.

I'm fed up with Godard for now. I must have about 10 of his
movies on DVD. Haven't seen Week End though.

I didn't see the RZA movie.

Next!

1. Groundhog Day
2. Ghost Dog
3. Magnolia
4. Blade Runner
5. Akira Kurosawa's Dreams

Not so much of a fan of talky artsy-fartsy Godard movies but
that one kinda kicks ass, it's totally lunatic and different
from anything else he did.

Anyway: GATTACA - my favourite movie

Seen them appart from 5. I thought the acting in Cube was so
shit i couldn't take it seriously even though i think it
wants you to.

DUEL

And the cheap b-movie rip-off of Duel: Breakdown. Also
awesome. Redneck Gangstas FTW

Zabriskie Point - very pretentious student hipster crap, but
it got some awesome sex and slow motion explosions scenes

DUEL was cool. Please continue, whore!

I'm downloading A Dangerous Method. I have the shrink
tomorrow. Should be something to talk about.

Well something underrated: Polanski's Death and the Maiden

Only got 3 actors (that Gandhi guy and that alien bitch),
but very intense and brilliant... dunno if you may like
this...

"very pretentious student hipster crap, but it got some

I'll pass. I don't want to be even more bored than i already
am.

funny or depressing or crazy or scary...

Oi! Don't decide what i like and don't like!

Loved Eyes Wide Shut and as for AI i didn't
mind it at all but obviously can't help but wonder how
different it would have been had Kubrick not died.

landscape suicide

thought it was very good, enjoyed the score as well

10. A Simple Plan
11. Darkman

Something German? Try "23" (paranoid hacker story) or
"Requiem" both from Hans-Christian Schmidt.

But better don't watch much german movies...

I thought The Addiction was pretty good and i
remember liking Francis Ford Coppolla's take on Bram
Stoker's Dracula. I could be all hip and mention
Nosferatu.

Wenders and the other few exports.

Ah yeah there is another german thing from a turkish book:
Felidae - animated cat gore thriller. Yeah has some
frightening scenes too.

Willem Dafoe was BORN to play Max Schreck

Actually I dislike the German New Wave, it's very stiff and
pretentious imho.

Australian New Wave now that's underrated: Try "The Last
Wave". From that Dead Poets Society dude, I hated the shit
out of that movie, but I LOVE his early mythical works!

it's just that spielberg is very good at what he does, but
his movies are too happy. therefor i'd like to view A.I. as
a Spielberg movie with a good dose of Kubrick

E.T. is one of my favourite movies ever. And for some
reason i get quite a bit of stick for it. I was just at the
right age when it came out at the cinema.

Something near-IDM: "A Hole in my heart" from Moodysson

Super-depressive and voyeuristic stuff with a soundtrack
consisting of glitchy Noise, classical music and cheap
Eurotrash techno.
