I t hink I might nyour help in a personal issue I am having. There is this girl at my work who I kind of like but I'm not sure if she likes me that much and I would like to try and change that. Well, where my cubicle is, is in an area that she walks by a lot, so I figure maybe I can get her to start noticing me by playing some interesting music so that maybe she'll think I'm an interesting guy. I know that her ex boyfriend was a RHCP fan so I have been playing that but it doesnt seem to get her attention that much. So I decided to try and play some IDM thinking that will hopefully get her thinking that I am "not just your typical guy" and maybe she will start swooning over the fact that I listen to this strange, dark music because it must mean that I'm a strange, dark guy. Well I've been playing all kinds of IDM real loud, and all that's happened is that she kind of has this weird look on her face when she walks by. So I started blasting it right after she walks in the room to try and "grasp the moment" but I think I am failing to achieve her approval, because she has stopped walking by as much, and the other day I saw her and one of her friends talking and snickering when I walked by. Please help |

Semi-serious post: I used to be chronically socially inept and cripplingly shy until about age 16, had almost no friends and zero luck with womenz etc. I swear most of it was because of my shitty diet and lack of physical activity. After a few weeks of eating food that actually provided nourishment to my body, and not spending all day every day screengazing, I felt way better physically and emotionally too. Way more confidence, such that I was able to make normal friends and communicate with womenz in a non-Benn-Jordan manner.
