now that joyrex started charging ppl to post on his forum xltronic now is the undisputed #1 top free IDM forum on the web and accopanying that we will see a influx of new members and riff raff xltronic will need to make a few new mods 2 handle this. i think im a good candidate cuz ive been on xltronic for a long time and i have a good heart and the desire 2 keep a friendly organized forum. plus i have moderating experience where i moderated on the watmm splinter forum wtfmm for 6 months (until it closed) during which i combatted spam and facilated inteligent and thoughtfull discussions what do u guys think. qrter please endore me? phobizero? |

1st i would get together with the other mods and share the information about the suspected posters. we would look at information such as ip address, geo location, email and browser/os data. if it matches it could be a dupe (btw i think dupes shoudl only be investigate if there being disruptive, ie, u need PROBABLE CAUSE to investigate some 1). other methods include posting style analysis, time/date analysis, comparision to known proxy information, cookies, etc. if a disruptive dupe is confirmed they would be dealt with swiftly. just a plain non-dupe troll is easier but there should be consensus among mods and the majority users that the persons being a troll |

Ha ha! You're rather cute, wavephace. But this place won't give you the excitement you seem to be anticipating. There's barely any traffic here and i doubt many of the watmmers will come here to stay. As for dupes, they always lose here. I doubt you getting your keen little fingers on the mod control would make owning trolls any more fun. |

imo this boards focus should continue 2 be excellent electronic music a category which includes some electronic new age music however the boards focus should be dictated by the members interests, ex. if theres interest in new age those threads would florish, if theres interest in drum and base we will see more popular drum and base threads appearing, etc also as usual there should always be room for non musical threads |
