this song isn't mentioned NEARLY enough around here
i think its absolutely AMAZING... easily the best of the
fast/hard songs on Drukqs, and among his best EVER
its also one of my favourite songs ever

the begining of this track (first 30 seconds) is so fucking
amazing.. one of my favourite musical moments ever
the way the percusion comes in...*drool*

also, the fact that it follows"iynweythek ylow"....... these
two tracks are just PEFECT together, the way "...ylow" sets
u up for it... genious!

the only down side is that the last third of the song isn't
quite as good as the first 2/3....

yah after about 2 minutes the magical synths disappear,
taking the brilliance of the song with them........:(

but it's a good song nonetheless. doesn't beat mt. st.
michael, imo

It's good, one of the better tracks from Drukqs, but I kind
of lose interest after the first minute, it just gets too
predictable

uh, actually: it DOES beat mt saint micheal
why dont u listen again, DUMBASS!??!?!

..j/k:)

but seriously.. this track is so under-hyped.. with all the
hoop-law surrounding mt st. micheal, cock v 10, cyamu beats,
etc, nobody ever mentions it.. but i think its better than
any of those

(okok, mt st micheals comes CLOSE, i guess its tied with
melphase 6 as my second fav. fast track on drukqs)

lol

well i just feel that it could've had a better ending. it
ends so happily, now. (i hate happy endings, that's why i
love mt st michael)

the best part of vordhosbn is at like 1:27 or something when
the sorta string sounding things come in!!
i love that part!!

i still like cockver10 and the end of 54 cymru beats more
tho.

Vordhosbn is one of my favorite aphex tracks. I like the
song when the drums take over, and you hear the hand claps
and stuff.

54 cymru beats is harder and faster than vordhosbn, why dont
people like it as much?

(hand claps?!?)

vord fucking owns
by far i think my fav OVERALL track on there

the beginning is good yes, but to me the closing ending is
EVEN better

the pipes just take me away

the buildup around 3:00

then the huge bass drop at 3:40

then that leads into my fav part on the whole damn cd

when the pipes kick in at 3:52

until the ending...(4:03) as well

Fucking LOVE that track!!! Although it loses steam and gets
less amazing near the end, though... but it's so intense and
emotional for the most part. That bass groan always makes my
head explode.

I love the HISSES the percussion makes at the end, but the
first half or so of the track is better, I think.

the ending is very downish and is kind of depressing

offline AMinal from Toronto (Canada) on 2002-04-15 00:45 [#00174558]

so then we're agreed, its amazing with a weak (well, not
quite as good) ending

i love hte way it comes in like a storm, just knocks u off
ur feet, and doesn't stop harrassing you...

..but then the weak ending kind of lets it just float away,
without concluding anything.. i guess..

hm.. sorry for all the metaphores n such, im not just trying
to sound cool or something

the only song imo that ends well on drukqs is ziggomatic
with that kind voice.

what's the fuzz over this track. it's good, but not great.
bbydhyonchord/meltphace 6 is better.

yes! it's the best track on drukqs (along with zigggomatic).
and stop bashing the end of the track, it isnt weak at all,
it's perfect! :)

No one ever talks about Gwety Mernans :( I absolutely love
that track! Its so eery and calm yet very forceful and
angry. A closed in force. Great stuff.

Question: How come everyone keeps saying Jynweythek Ylow?
My copy of Drukqs just says Jynweythek. What's up with
that?

the ID3 tag said Jynweythek Ylow on mine when I ripped it.

the tag on my mp3 version of drukqs (my only version) also
says Jynweythek Ylow
...strange..

amborne, maybe ur CD is a limited one of a kind thing..
personally etched by aphex twin, BY HAND!
its the ONLY possible explination!

Another bunch of scary tracks on disk 2 of SAW II is Spots,
Tassels, and ESPECIALLY Match Sticks. That one is freaky.

Can anyone help me find the hidden tracks on SAW II? Are
they there at the end or the beginning?

but in any case, that cd is special

ahah..sorry bout the name:)

..thats just like the track "flim"
i always just assumed it was "film".. i didn't actually read
it closely for months!

what does ur name mean anyway?

I actually made a thread or wrote in a thread explaining the
complexities and cultrual background of my name from some
832 years ago.

Amonbrune = Almond Brune. Brune = Brown in french. Almond
Brown. Makes no sense but oh well.

I actually just came up with Amonbrune as it is. It didn't
have a meaning. I looked closely and saw it had stuff in
there...mainly brune.

lol
ya i figured:)

mine is just AMinal... that simple
u know how little kids sometimes say AMinal instead of
animal?
well, i thought it sounded pretty cool, and capitalizing
both the A and the M added a nice touch, especially
considering those are my initials

...now THAT's a name story!

aminal:
i thought your name was animal because because i just glance
at it and that's what it looks like. it's just funny that
youve mentioned the flim"film thing.

ya i always just glance at words (especially names) and sort
of remmeber what they look like.. rarely actually paying
attention to what they are
its weird, i recognise and remember so many names of people
on this board, but i wouldn't be able to actually SAY or
spell any of ur names!
same w/ names of people in books, and in school (history),
and stuff like that...
