Well yeah as I'm working for a mobile phone brand I thought
I could give a try with a "smartphone" (god I hate that
term).
So I got a samsung galaxy S3 mini. Already got a few fun
games : temple run 2, diamond dash and pudding monster, also
useful apps too, addblock and shazam... Do you recommend any
?
Oh and as I told in one other thread, my ringtone is :
from 00:40 to 01:01
And also I'm kind of the first one to talk about apps and
stuff so I'm very cool ok ?

swiss army knife app will be useful, a notepad, perhaps a
radio. fruit ninja is a laughing good time.

swiftkey with flow is by far the best keyboard for android
out there, well worth the $3 or whatever. it learns your
typing style and intelligently predicts what you'll say
next.

airdroid is essential if you plan on using your phone with
your computer in any way (copying files, making ring tones,
you can even send sms, view and backup your contacts, lots
of super useful stuff that becomes 10x easier when you can
do it with a mouse and keyboard)

glow spin art is a lot of fun for tripping out on. fruit
ninja is also a lot of fun, but does use a fuck ton of
battery.

launcher 7 is a slick windows phone-like home launcher i've
been using and i really like it - makes it feel more like
i'm using a phone with extended features rather than an
obtuse tiny little computer.

and if you like to tweak at all, tasker is an insanely
robust app that lets you create basically any if>then
trigger you can think of. turn off your ringer when you get
to work, turn on your wifi when you get home, stop certain
programs from using data when your battery gets low, more
intelligently control your screen brightness... shit's
endless.

that and all my local transit and restaurant apps. god i
love ordering food on my phone without every having to talk
to a person or even pull out my credit card.

i haven't been using many other apps recently because
battery life is so horrendous on android and i prefer to not
have to charge a device every 20 hours.

I saw evernote mentioned and you might want to consider that
they just got the hack equivalent of prison rape. I got rid
of my account.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned this here, but make sure
you get the 'text' and 'phone' apps for your Android. Also
'voicemail' is handy.

"it learns your typing style and intelligently predicts what

well worth the 3$, never have to write anything ever again
:)
noticing utubes 'related' bit has got a lot more
'efficient', less randomy & far more boring recently too

yeah man, i hate that, it's recommending me shit based on my
past views or whatever, not related to the video, has pretty
much killed those endless youtube quests
