I just read the article. I had thought the shift happened due to minorities flooding in, but rather it's due to 620,000 whites moving out from 2001 to 2011. To England I offer my condolences: 'white flight' is nothing new over here and it's not fun. Good luck with London (expect it to get shittier by the hour.) |

TVR = Owned by a Russian (it was a German who founded it anyway, even when it was based in Wales) Lotus = Owned by either Italians or Malaysians. Rover got away with making poor cars for a long time and were lucky not to go bust sooner, IMO. McLaren, Bristol and Noble are the only really truly British ones left, I think. All three are really expensive. |
