I downloaded a bunch of stuff from platipus off amazon last
night. The union jack in particular makes me dance so hard.
Its all so loved up and happy. I don't hear music like that
anymore.

What happened....

Union Jack's "Lollipop Man" is an old favorite of mine.

Early 90s were a fun time due to the analog-digital
transition and also all the music by people that had grown
up tinkering with analog hardware; also the optimism/energy
of raves. (World was a different place as well.)

I was considering that: the internet was coming of age and
everyone was making money, there was no war at the time
(outside of the Balkans). I know that I was happier back
then.

Do you think the zeitgeist actually affects the tone of
musical output?
