I've seen a lot of 808 discussion on here and I feel safe in saying we all like our transister riddim eight o eight boxes.
In this thread I encourage you to share your favorite tr-808 patches. It might help if you name your patches like "ghetto booty" or "mnml progressive tech trance" to give an idea of what it sounds like.
in particular I like to tune the BD like: 100, 50, 35. That gives you a nice poppy BD to cut through some thick analog basses that you might have from your tb-303 or even sh-101.

don't have an 808 to tune. i just tweak the fuck out of the samples from this sample pack

Yeah Goldbaby is brilliant. Get all his free stuff. His paid stuff is worth the money too.
One nice thing about his samples is they don't already have the fuck compressed out of them.

You know how Kontakt can do the round-robin samples in order to approach that last non-linear bit of analog fuckery?
Is there a hardware sampler that can load his sample packs and do the same thing?
