have you got the whole Chrono Cross soundtrack? Is it worth
downloading all 3 cd's? It'll take a while as i have to do 1
track at a time, is it worth it?

some of the best music he's ever produced on there.

Silent Hill Series. Simply because it was so progressive and
effective. DAMN effective hehe

Some of Silent Hill music sounds a lot like Portishead to
me... I don't know if that was a deliberate influence or
just something incidental.

Oh, also, I also like Final Fantasy music -- some of it in
particular, like the battle music from VII -- sounds
reminiscent of Emerson, Lake, and Palmer. I thought this
might be just a coincidence too until I looked into some
interviews with Nobuo Uematsu and he says he enjoys their
music, and the music of Mike Oldfield etc.

So many great video game soundtracks over the years. I'd
have to say the Mega Man series (the earlier ones, anyway)
are also favorites, as are the Deus Ex games.

In electronic music history, SURE Wipeout!!! :D (good
memories of watching that Fluke "Atom Bomb" video "starring"
Arial Tetsuo)

My new favorite videogame track in history is the town theme
from Traysia. What a forgotten gem.

Panto- YES, it's definitely worth it! Still my favorite
soundtrack of all time, game or otherwise. Open invitation-
I've got quite a bit of video game music on SLSK, username
revolverjgw

Streets of Rage 3 has a remarkable soundtrack... I swear
there's some Confield sounds, 8 years before the fact. And
most of it sounds like Caustic Window. Unbelievable Genesis
soundchip manipulation by Koshiro.
