used to be 3 units per day (22 oz) plus bar trips during the weekdays and binge drinking around monthly. None of that for 2 years. My liver or something had started to complain. Now it's only a couple drinks on the weekend and none during the week. |

It varies wildly. I didn't drink for a fortnight until this weekend just gone when I had 8 or 9 pints. Was rat arsed. Bottle of cheap red wine occasionally cos I'm a gaylord and eight cans of whatever's on offer if people are visiting or we're having a BBQ or something. I like going to the pub and having four pints of ale and a chat. I have no idea about units or stuff. I drink the most when I'm at work, free booze and stuff. |

Also I don't drink spirits with mixers but I'll have some shots if I'm on a night out in Scarborough because it's a fucking dump and I need to numb the mind so I don't feel guilty about chatting up 18 year old girls. |

bah.. im doing a physically demanding job not adjusting the height on my swivel chair and coughing at a screen.. but even I am wondering the fact I am 19-20 units a day over the governments half full/empty recommendation. |
