Videocrash: Plaid + Eskmo + Illum Sphere

offline CRSH from London (United Kingdom) on 2012-04-24 16:54 [#02433368]
Points: 2 Status: Lurker

With more than a dozen albums to their credit including six
on Warp Records, Plaid’s position in the history of
electronic music is assured. Never ones to rest on their
laurels though the past 12 months has seen them not only
release one of the best albums of their career, the stunning
Scintilli, but unveil a brand new live AV show that has been
dropping jaws worldwide.

Joining Plaid on stage will be several of the most exciting
new producers around today including San Francisco’s
Eskmo, who over the past 10 years has featured on labels
such as Ninja Tune, Warp and Planet-Mu and Manchester’s
Illum Sphere described as “one of the most special and
unique artists to come out of the UK” by Hyperdub’s
Ikonika.

With more acts to be announced this is already shaping up to
be one of the biggest nights this year for electronica fans
in London

Since Soundcrash launched Videocrash back in 2010, the night
has become the place in London to witness the best in A/V
clubbing, with the likes of Hextsatic, DJ Yoda, Amon Tobin
and Kid Koala locked in a visual arms race to create the
most jaw dropping spectacles clubland has seen and redfine
what a live show looks like in this day and age.
