thx freqy yeah, tried allrecorder, but can't see an option for recording "what i hear" (as in like, if I wanted to record the sound of a youtube video i was watching, or a movie, or something in flstudio). am wondering if it's my snd crd |

hang on, why not just get a youtube downloader flv recorder? get firefox go to 'tools' get a youtube downloader addon plugin ythig you can download the HD videos n s**t |

ahhh flstudio can be hosted in other DAWs as a VST or connected through ReWire. so you could , if you got cubase or reaper ( if on windoze)...install flsyudio as a plugin or rewire the bitch into a sequencer, then record its output in another insert( via a vst-recorder plugin) or track if you insert on an input and route the input to an audio track. : ) |

i just read that back myself and it didn't make sence. i meant ...if you get a sequencer like cubase or reaper. ...you could link (rewire) or plugin your flstudio into that sequencer and record inside there. and when rewiring into a sequencer like cubase you can use the compressors and reverbs and things, so might be nice in other ways. : ) |

right click volume control > recording devices, set stereo mix as default device, use record function in wavelab, audacity etc |
