I've been visiting xltronic for years and discovered a vast
amount of music thanks to the kind recommendations of users.

its always been full of in jokes and people posting
pointless shit. the ratio of pointless shit to music has
depreciated a lot recently, sadly. its idiosyncratic
character used to be a plus but now it requires a lot of
effort to trawl through the crap. saying that, who can
forget such classics as the "crowd gave thansk and
comebacks" thread, which was amusing even to a perennial
lurker like myself

I still find much joy here actually if the timing is right

I tell myself that I only come here for the music, and I've
never really mastered the art of posting on online forums. I
still find myself reading endless threads of cuntychuck and
hedphukker arguing about dubstep, or wmw posting about the
nature of the universe and willies and bums. why do I read
this shit, I don't know. I have all these characters and
personalities in my head and I can't discuss them with
anyone. I suppose I should just join the fun and start
posting

this is the most I posted here like ever, I think.

its a ballache that the search function has gone

good weekend

ive been on here for 10 years now and although i may not
frequent the way i used to, i always find myself listening
to aphex twin and coming back here eventually. this is the
original idm safe haven.

I only come here to check whether the sepia colors of my
display aren't off.

i gotta say, the bullshit that occurs here is nothing
compared to facebook, reddit, 4chan or any other major
public forum. actually, i think this forum is quite unique
for not falling into any obvious internet traps. and that is
why i am still here, even though i think most of you are
still stuck in the early 00's.

I'm actually surprised you think it's the 00's and not the
90's. Or the 80's or the 70's.

But it's true though. And it's not unique. The same holds
for any (musical) generation. Obviously.

The IDM business is in a state of penopause.

oh the psychology of a freak. i'm loving watching you
following you and reading every fucking dirty fingermark you
make.

BY THE WAY in the SHORT future when you get admitted and/or
arrested, all of this which is being even as you type(!)
recorded on your profile, say goodbye to any kind of reality
that you understand.
