p2p downloading mp3's

last week a lot of the content via sites such as filestube
and filetram has disappeared. megaupload, then filesonic and
fileshare... things are finally tightening up in terms of
internet censorship and copyrights. that may be good or bad
but the world is going into a different phase in this way,
along wih many other more substantial ways of course. but
what are things looking like, 15 years down the line, in
your opinion in this regard? will someone proliferate
another audio format which makes all our mp3's vestigial? or
will the ability to play them somehow be removed in future?
will we all end up like wild animals in the jungle or each
have the entire history of music on our iphones?

Everything that's already in the world when you're born is
just normal, suggested Adams. Anything created between birth
and the age of 30 is incredibly exciting and creative and
with any luck you can make a career out of it.

But whatever is invented after you've turned 30 is against
the natural order of things and the beginning of the end of
civilisation as we know it -until it's been around for about
10 years, when it gradually turns out to be all right
really.

You've got Trendfear grandad.

Time for releasing some more of those end of civilization
tunes. What are you waiting for?

contraception.

I feel like I should make some kind of joke now about your
wife/girlfriend, having had kids and wizard's sleeves, but
I'm too tired to make the whole mess congeal in my head.

Trendfear, i like that! i think xltronic has trendfear, it's
holding back itself from evolving into v2. a stillborn
troglodytic nameless thing, i'm going to embalm it and hang
it over the fireplace

strange that's viewed as complaining, no preference or
opinion was expressed. strange also that so many people
usually choose the easy/obvious option of negativity
straight off the bat. anonymous internet forums eh.

anyone seen that film 'drive', very 80's style, soundtrack
etc, pretty good

Deteriorating analog formats can sound nice a lot of the
time and have a decent lifespan. Digital audio goes from
perfect to unbearable noise or, worse, corrupt
/unplayable. I’d love to see some sort of organic file
structure that allowed media to self-repair in a way that
sounds pleasing (3rd harmonic distortion etc, even
generation loss). As a bonus it might keep some of our
culture around if a drive’s functionality didn’t fall
off a cliff once error correction reached its limit / enough
sectors went bad. We might leave something like cave
paintings but with more data density.

All that would be a ways off, but as for your questions I
think some truly amazing stuff is going to happen in the
next ten years. This is the most exciting and interesting
time in history to be alive and creating. You’re welcome
to email me if you want to chat outside the forum (can’t
blame you).

in time the sun will expand and engulf the earth, and only
78 rpm disks will survive to face an unknowable future of
alien adventure

Its better to let someone smarter answer for me:
politics corruption evil and other cool keywords
Then you can click on all the other parts above that on the
right because its just part 1 in case you suck at knowing
how to use teh yootubes.
I used to believe AJ was another l ron hubbard type
charlatan, but i believe we're living in crony capitalism
inverted totalitarianism now and think he's doing good to
attempt thwarting the shaping of the tyranny default
humanity tends to shape itself in.
"when the governments fear the people there is liberty. when
the people fear the government there is tyranny."
He is only saying stuff that respects that quote.

Why is some of his stuff.. weird, well it is memetic
warfare, sometimes what is tactical might not be true. But a
lot seems to be in my naive opinion, when he's in 'true
mode' (sometimes it can be like the simpsons where some
episodes suck and others are great).

Alex Jones is nowhere near as entertaining as
Henry Makow. Henry makes David Icke look like Bill
Moyers.

hey Drive is really good, if you like its soundtrack, try
the alternative / rejected one by johnny jewel (on his
soundcloud), its like 2 hour of ambient/late nite driving
stuff. good stuff.

good god

Since you're interested in psychoceramics (crackpotology),
you should have a look at the writings of William Guy Carr,
an important node of 20th century Illuminati lore.
