I just got this software installed, but there seems to be
very little to work with... As in sounds, VST's, etc...
Any ideas how i could expand it a little?

get some vst instruments, search for free vst instruments.

'fah' on xlt made one recently for download.

you can get demos too. native instruments is one of the
best .

you can mess about with mp3's on the time line. download
some free vst plugins

just search for free vst 's
