All I can say from a constructive p.o.v it is not as good as the EP. Get the vibe it is not as zippy, Flow is less fluid. Only 2nd listen through. Seems a bit fluffy/populist for phlex (IMO). |

i don't think it's laziness, must be other reasons don't you think, really? would be quicker and less speculative to ask the label or distributor when etc directly, wouldn't it? that's what i would do, rather than post on a forum speculating. |

The distributor will tell you to contact the shops or the label itself if you're not a reseller. They're very good at brushing you off; try it! I'm sure they love dozens of would-be record buyers ignoring the fact that their customers are record stores and not listeners. Anyway the only "approved" way to contact Rephlex with label enquiries is to send a letter in the post. Not quick, but possibly more effective than complaining here. I haven't tried it, perhaps someone will and let us know the reply? Certainly more byzantine comms than in the old days, but perhaps that's how they like it. I saw somewhere that JK is also out on the 20th, two weeks away. This is probably as much information as we are going to get right now. In the meantime I am going to shut up, be patient, listen to records that are already out and get on with life. I've back-ordered what I want, when they're released they will show up. |
