people claim to want vinyl but not enough people actually
buy it, the profit margin is tiny and that's if all the
copies are sold (not damaged or returned or sitting in
racks).. CD's & mp3 don't sell enough to subsidise the
vinyl... so sadly really good records don't get released...
take heart in the fact that one day no records or cd's will
be released any more, it's the slow slide, at least we can
all download more or less the entire history of music for
free if we wanted to

from my experience, more people are buying vinyl than CDs at
least... not as much as digital downloads i suppose, but CDs
are basically just tangible WAV files anyway. still nice to
put in the shelf i suppose.

won't make any money off it though, but it's THE listening
format, so it serves as an enthusiast's choice. always no.
1. sleeve looks better than a jewel case/digipak too!

i should specify: within this type of music. much more CDs
are sold in general, of course.

I guess your shitty attitude never had anything to do with
putting people right off giving you any money.

Remember the good old 1980s?
When things were so uncomplicated?
I wish I could go back there again
And everything could be the same.
