Nicely done man. I love emotive techno and electro. I
picked up on the 606 right away, but did not know that was a
707 until looking at the video. I haven't heard enough
music that uses a 707 to make the distinction.

Also, 202 Acid is underrated.

I wonder how music would be like without them.

Honestly, this is probably my favorite song of 2011. Once
those Strings kick in it's all over. Really looking forward
to more 300 Degrees material.

Yes but those all use samples whereas the Roland drum
machines predominantly use synthesised drums which are much
more interesting as the sound can be changed dynamically
with knobs, not EPROM swapping!

One can learn a lot about synthesising drums by reading up
on how the 808 and 909 work.

there's always the one in fruity loops

dave_g: that wasn't my point, i just wanted to give credit
to other machines that have been used in dozens of brilliant
productions. people still love em.

Yeah fair enough. From a technical point of view I find the
909 and 808 much more interesting. However I would imagine
"back in the day" going from xox to sampled drums must have
been rather exciting.
