I'm liking this greatly. You're right about it being remniscient of BoC.
If I had to change one thing, I would bring the pad/string/whatever it is sound down just a little bit. Not much, just a tad. Excellent track though.

Try taking the top off the pad track with a filter to warm things up and you're there!

I agree with the pad/string thing, it sounds a little too much like an FM7 preset to me. Nice beats.

i have a cool track too, i'm not sure who it sounds like. mp3.com/killersockmonkey it's called learning to cope with things everything else is pretty much groove maker shit, so don't bother.

my computer decided to use quicktime which doesn't really download it, so I didn't bother getting the whole thing... but the first 1/4 is very interesting, it would be hard to do that with the software I use. Interesting tones fade around and mutate a bit, it's cool. Maybe i should finally trying boards of canada's stuff. I brought the thread to the top at least...

I may not be a wizard/old daddy, but I've been lurking around the board for as long as some of them.
Anyway, just trying to help heal the hurt left by the lack of Old Daddy love on this love.

VERY nice, bluecalx! Really has a MHTRTC kind of vibe to it. May I ask what prog(s) you used to create this track?
