I don't know how big OSX installation is but if it's anything like Win7 it should take more than 30GB, rest should be good for programs and downloads as long as you have an external drive to move the files later.

My main OS partition is an 80gb SSD. So yeah, it's manageable.
Especially when you have 3tb+ of storage drives too :D

as long as you don't have too many ripped off programs + mp3's on it. Try and store them on a external.
