If you are looking for innovative games you must buy an i-phone or and android handheld. Besides that, i am wondering why so many violent games are being produced. I am wondering about the emotional development of its consumers. I don't think these games are helpful |

got an android phone but couldnt care less about it man, hate nasty waves so it's almost always turned off... And since I'm not 8 years old for 21 years now, portable games just arent appealing to me now just don't care in the bus just don't care at all.... I had a game boy in black and white back some day but now playing wioth a portable device doesn't even cross my mind... |

its all about mw online for me, im hopelessly addicted to it, cant play anything else, even black ops. occasionally dip into forza, but then am back onto mw again. if only forza 4 could somehow merge a TAR 21 assault rifle onto the dashboard one of the cars and i would be be happier than a pig in shite. e3 was massively disappointing, but then again it is every year, except that this year everyones creaming themselves over the halo anniversary edition, so what who cares?. looking forward to the portal 2 DLC this summer anyways. |

the current state of video games is shit.there's no denying. i know i'll probably draw some aggro with this statement, but consoles are in part to blame. why? big game developers who used to concentrate on pc games HAVE to release console versions (xbox360, ps3) in addition to the usual pc versions in order to make a big (i.e. bigger) profit nowadays. this is mainly because pirating is easier on a pc. now, most games -- in theory -- function just as well with a mouse and a keyboard as with a gamepad. there are exceptions, however, as with the rpg genre. rpg games have always been about numbers, about stats, about menus and other geeky stuff... most importantly it needed A LOT of clicking around with a MOUSE. consoles with their gamepads are NOT all the user friendly in this regard. fuck you who thinks otherwise. what's the result then? well, take mass effect as an example. it's NOT an rpg game. it's an action game. |

i agree, what really annoys me is the hype that surrounds a game in the press and online, them when its released the same hypers review said release and give it a 6, a 7 etc - because they are right they are shite dull and ropey, fuck look at what they did to the crysis game? its dreadful, even on PC. i understand that this is a good process to selling a agmes magazine etc, but it still annoys me. most developers seem to troll out any old iron, who cares whether it is any good? its not very often that a groundbreaker ala bioshock, mirrors edge (had its problems but forward thinking) or say portal comes along. goldeneye on the N64. now that was a good game. |

Video games are doing just fine. It's the industry that needs to die. Or if not die, it only needs get a tiny little bit shittier and we can swallow our nostalgia and never care about the fucking video game industry any more than we care about Hollywood or major record labels. It will be awesome. |
