help!?

Tascam DR2D, DR-08

Yamaha W24

Zoom H4N

Edirol R09HR

Olympus LS11

so many to choose from...

i want to record outside on windy days as clearly as poss,
birds, wind in the willows, bike pumps, buckets...

& i want to be able to record synth mixdowns & vocals
clearly inside too

usb and sd cards and mp3 and battery life and all that jazz
is less important

so please consider any advice with that major requirement

tho that said, multitracking would be dope and i like the
one that does a backup recording at lower level

can anyone recommend, it's so confusing...

it seems to be the tascam dr2d rather than the dr-08

either them or the zoom?

any ideas/suggestions please? cheers...

then i can get one when they get replaced by a newer model!

I wouldn't go with any of those. Think about upping your
budget if you want to record well outside without a layer of
hiss. Maybe a tascam dr-100 or marantz pmd660 ?
