Presents NHKyx, The Wyrding Module, Skekski, Kayaka and more tbc £3 adv list £5 on door Friday, June 24 For those of you lucky enough to be avoiding the horrors of U2 and Coldplay at Glastonbury we’ve assembled a stellar line up of electronic sounds for your listening pleasure: NHKyx is the solo project of Kouhei Matsunaga, one half of the deadly Japanese production duo NHK who have released material through Raster Noton and Important records. Having released his debut album on Mille Plateaux back in 1998, Matsunaga has since collaborated with Merzbow and, more recently, with Mika Vainio and Autechre's Sean Booth. His latest release on Skam demonstrates his ability to offer up cerebral sounds that take cues from electro, techno, dub and noise whilst never failing to shake your ass. Active since 1998, making Dj sets, remixes, live performances. Co founded Leeds UK based club night V3CTOR, was resident DJ at Room237, Beat Inspection, Lovebytes. Currently works at ∆ICASEA organising electronic music events and releasing digital and physical audio from artists working in various locations around the globe.
