I tried to order Storm the Studio by MBM today, and I was
told it was out of print.
Surely someone knows where to get it.

The ninja forum might be a better place to check...

Or ebay.

Yeah. Ninja seems to be distributing Jack Dangers shit now.
They published his newer DJ mix 'Hello Friends'

If you can, get hold of a copy of the MINDSTREAM EP....

Great APhex remix on there....I've got a lot of time for MBM
& Jack D; that Radio Babylon track was a major major major
influence on Breakbeat/Jungle/DnB culture...

Yeah, Subliminal Sandwich introduced me to a whole new world
of sound. Quite the record.
Has anyone heard Jack Danger's new 'Varianciones
Espectrales' cd yet? I heard the best place to order it
from stateside is http://www.cduniverse.com if anyone's
interested.
Personally, I just finally got around to picking up the
'Eccentric Objects' vinyl.. Hope to get this soon though.
I've heard very good reviews.

i made this girl named ashley. listen to acid again while
she was on, guess what, acid. during school. and it freaked
her out, cause one, it's mbm, and two, she swore the girl
was saying "never ashley again" i laughed at her, then
proceded to use our cd players to mix in bloom by nirvana
with the rockafella skank by fatboy slim. she almost cried.
my god i hate that girl.

Nothing Records no longer has any sort of relationship with
Meat Beat Manifesto.
To answer your original question zguru: Are you looking for
the vinyl or the Mute reissue? Even though the cd's out of
print, it really isn't terribly hard to find if you keep
your eyes peeled.. Check eBay or half.com every so often and
it should pop up sooner or later.

Rich Borge's style is perfect for Meat Beat's album
artwork.
I especially like Actual Sounds + Voices.
That quirky eyeball mechanism really tweeked my noodle the
first time I saw it..
Does anyone have any of the 'Sounds of the 21st Century'
flexidiscs? Nothing really special; a couple of old radio
broadcasts, party sounds, an interview with Tino, etc..
The 'Tape Music' 10" Mini LP was nice. He uses early
analogues to boil, distort, and juice some plain-out weird
sounds from a couple of poor defenseless tape recordings..

it seems that Nothing Records is shutting everybody off but
NIN nowadays...

For anyone that likes "Acid Again", there is another song
that samples that girl...
A Daisy Chain for Satan by My Life With the Thrill Kill
Kult.

I think the name has something to do with being a vegetarian
or an animal rights activist...Maybe both, I don't know. Or
it's possible it has something to do with visions attained
through masturbation.
The point is, it sounds clever and suits the music.
