Also, I can't find my glasses this morning... Coincidence? I
think not.

isn't that bad, or some people you work with who you like.

Monoid:

I well know restaurateur has asked for my secret salad
dressing recipe. I'm not to sure about it so I wanted to get
your opinion first. Please let me know your thoughts.

Four teaspoon of balsamic vinaigrette
One tablespoon of organic olive oil
One teaspoon of crushed lemon pepper
One teaspoon of crushed black pepper
A pinch of ground basil

Thanks!

I am wearing contacts today. They tickle a bit. Is this
normal?

offline w M w from London (United Kingdom) on 2011-04-05 06:18 [#02410304]

One time my contact got stuck on the top of my eyeball or
something, causing my eye to water and I had to consciously
prevent my twitching eyelid from blinking since I was in the
precarious position of trying to get it out before it went
further in. But it was too late, an uncontrollable blink and
slight eye roll slid it around the back side. I later felt
the contact under the skin of my left testicle. Which is
weird because it was my right eye so I guess the wires got
crossed somewhere. That happens when I use q tips too. Like
my left ear will be itchy, say, but the right ear makes the
qtip the yellowest so I think my brain wires regarding ear
sensations are mixed up. I actually made this all up, except
for the q tip stuff.

yes, it's normal.

do you wear hard or soft contact-lenses?

i used to wear hard lenses. they sucked. they made my eyes
red, so that people in the supermarket commented "you smoked
a lot of weed yesterday, huh?" even though i didn't. ... or
they would just pop out of my eye for no reason and be lost
for ever. for instance, i would be walking down a windy
street in the darkness and suddenly they would pop out of my
eye leaving me half-blind. (i'm very short-sighted.) ... or
i'd get dust in my eyes and my eyes would hurt as hell.

anyway, soft lenses are alright.

sometimes when i use q tips in the ear i can feel the
"taste" in the back of my mouth. similarly if i scratch a
spot on my right elbow i can feel a pinching sensation in
the waist.

that's to do with brain mapping, the area of your brain
which sends a signal from your elbow might be mapped right
next to your waist, so you get a cross signal giving you a
phantom sensation.

I had this idea about glueing pencils or cigarettes to
contact lenses, so they can stick out of the eyeballs. I
have yet to try it.

be going to work without them. I bought glasses for 227 Euro
which i don't wear.
I am sick of this and consider laser surgery.
