How Many is Too Many?

I have a bit of a peculiar sytem when it comes to
collecting albums. My theory is that five is the maximum
good albums an artist has in them, past that stuff starts to
get a bit shit...I don't stop collecting but I often find
about five albums by each in high rotation the rest just sit
and collect dust..on the other side, I often keep searching
until I find 5 albums by a less prolific artist that I like

does this sound a bit familiar or is this a form of OCD?

why do you have to set limits etc. to everything, what's
good = good and what's crap = crap!

Yup, no limit is necessary.

Having album limits seems okay, because it forces one to
have high standards of quality. The downside of this is
that it assumes some sort of hierarchy, where the concept of
equality is not possible. This denies albums of the
opportunity to stand on their own, when they are constantly
in competition with others.

Can't we all just get along?! Homez.
