don't you facepalm, you!

the full 22 minute version of Huone is fucking class.

and no, i've never heard anything quite like it (except
other stuff by sasu ripatti of course).

True, but calling Huone house? Are you sure? I'd like to
high-five the House-DJ who dares to put Huone in his set.

but seriously, ripatti is very influenced by basic channel.

here's a good one (although more hardcore than huone):

they share that feeling of endless tweaking, which basic
channel pretty much invented.

this 'invented by' shit must end. is a shame for all human
kind.

if i say i've heard basic channel style into a reggae track
of 197XXX, what would you say?

microhouse often crosses paths with minimal techno
one of the labels to try is mille plateaux which also houses
(pun intended) pole, oval, safety scissors, and valdislav
delay...their clicks and cuts sereis of comps are pretty
cool

if you want to venture towards something loungier soul
driven house earlier matthew herbert albums such as 100lbs,
around the house and bodily functions will work quite well

mathew herbert-mistakes

on the harsher minimal techno end Adam beyer is quite cool
Adam Beyer

clicks and cuts on allmusic

allmusic has listenable samples now which is quite awesome
really
there were 4 of these comps...so plenty of artists to
explore

i can't get the difference between minimal techno and
minimal house, but they most probably are one or the other.
also dub techno is there with these two genres i think in
terms of crossing paths. and i rather enjoy what deepchord
does than what basic channel did.

Vladislav Delay is incredible!! I've never even heard of
them until now

thanks ;)

"electric birds - gradations" is the closest thing I can
compare it to.

btw I have the exact same question but for this song:

No THanks for the Add

I generally aren't too fond of house but this is like
nothing i've heard before..
