Dropbox creates a folder on each of your systems that syncs
to the cloud, so your folder organization is totally
maintained.

As for Dropbox on smartphones, on the iPhone you can't do
anything other than view your files because there's no
downloading. Android is great tho! The only limitation is
you can't download whole folders, so you're limited to
either downloading each file individually or zipping up
anything you think you'll need. I've had my Droid R2D2 for
three weeks and only plugged it into my laptop to trasnfer
files once.
