Hi there Xltronicers, Here is my annual Best of 20XX mix but it's a bit different this time... I'm contributing my Best of 2010 to the MixCloud / Bleep competition. The winning mix will be chosen from the top 10 mixes (as a combination of plays and favourites). I need as much listeners / repeated listens as possible. BUT, I don't really want to win this competition. All I want is to make a statement here. Almost all these kind of mixcompetitions are based on dancefloor mixes. All I want is some attention for "bedroom DJs" in hopes of mixcompetitions for this in the future. I'm convinced that there is a huge audience for these mixes as well.. right? I am way too late because the closing date for the competition is today!, so I'm way behind to my competitors.. If you share my opinion please help me to spread the word and play my mix on rotation! The mix will be available for download after the competition ends. I might include some extra's in the download version as I didn't had enough time to finish this mix steady, therefor the mix sounds a bit hurried. http://www.mixcloud.com/grimonmbient/bleep-competition/ GO Ninja! You don't see me posting because Xltronic is pass the best-before date. I only use it to spam my mixes here because I know there are still a few followers here. I do check XLtronic from time to time but I can't bear to watch it too often to be honest. To me Die Antwoord is still a big question whether it is a joke or not. I mean, this can't be serious, right? Caro Emerald to me is something which will surely remind me of this era when I'll play the mix when I'm 50+. Both had a pretty impact on the music scene.
