I just read a book called DMT by this doctor who got government permission to conduct research on it. It's all very interesting and I'm sure it's very soul-shocking, but I have a hard time imagining what I would gain from it in life. |

Apparently the chemical is found a large number of living organisms including us and it thought that it might be produced by the pineal gland which was thought to have no function by the medical community for some time. Terence McKenna had a theory that psilosybe mushroom spores came from some other place in the universe besides Earth because the outer layer of the spore is supposedly among the toughest organic materials and some self-transforming machine elves told him so while using DMT. It always sounded a bit humorous to me, but it's kinda creepy now that you bring similar information to the table. Though I didn't think DMT was extracted from mushrooms. |

I kind of want to try. The fact that nearly everyone who does a large dose comes to the same basic conclusion--that some telepathic beings were trying to tell them something-blows me away. But when I try to imagine that it's not experienced as a visual halucination but as something that feels more real than real I start to second guess it. I know one person who's smoked DMT. He can't tell me who he got it from and the source was a one time thing anyway. I also know somebody who knew somebody who tried it. Other than that I've only read about it. |

i don't smoke DMT, but i've heard of it a while back, and my friend keeps telling me that he'll hook me up, but now he moved...and i have yet to try any...I read a book called "the spirit molecule" or something along those lines, and it's very profound... i sugest that anyone interested in DMT (or anyother durg) check out the vaults of erowid. i think it's www.erowid.com. |
