[spam] My poster thread

Thought I'd save all my spamming in one single thread, so
there will be less posts to ignore for you guys..

Starting off with a re-make of Psycho, in a
pictogram manner. There might be more of these pictogram
posters. I'm kind of addicted to it. Pictograms might be the
only thing I will ever work with.

nice idea, the knife's outline might have been a little
thicker for balance with the rest of the design. my 2 cents

Yeah, I got that advice from another person just a minute
ago, I might try that.

Thanks!

Nice stuff, as usual. But if you're gonna do series in a
similar aesthetic, varying the ground and overlay texture
would help them feel more organic. As it is, going from one
to the next makes the shared texture usage apparent.

I'm sorry, but I just HAVE ta brag a little about this. Ben
at Shortlist contacted me and wanted to write an article
about my posters, which can be found here.

He later asked me to do posters for 'Shaun of the dead' and
'Hot Fuzz', starring and written by Simon Pegg. They can be
found in this article.

Yesterday, my Shaun poster showed up at Simon Pegg's official website,
which I think is extremely cool.

Thanks, mate! I don't really have the guts to start asking
for money yet. Requests like these don't grow on trees, will
prolly do it again if I get the question..

Yeah, a couple. But it's just doesn't make that much profit,
the print-on-demand Internet shop takes most of it. But it's
a hassle printing yourself and selling, but it's hard not to
get greedy!

I've printed Coffee and cigarettes and Time for wine, and I
earn more from selling one of them, than selling five
posters on Redbubble.. BUT, I'm just happy people find them
attractive enough to actually buy them! So, it's all good.

Thanks for your kind support!

i like them, but i would love them with colors!
characteristic colors of the tone of the movies

offline viktor from Uppsala (Sweden) on 2011-04-04 23:11 [#02410250]
Points: 1129 Status: Lurker

Yeah, I've been tempted to use color many times. But with
these, I wanted them to work as a whole, not going in
different directions. And the focus is on the symbols, not
the posters themselves, I guess.

Thanks for watching my stuff!

its stupid cuz the lady is showering in her dress. You can
distinguish her as a lady without a dress by showing
"boobs", a trait of human females according to wikipedia.
