i like the drum tracks, but the bassline could use a lil hi
eq boost to really make it menacing. is that an itchy wobble
synth?

Woah, thanks for listening dude, I was almost ready to
nominate this topic for the saddest post of the year, since
it had no response to it at all for some time :p

I made the track in Reason, and it's an NN-XT patch which
responds nicely to any delicate movement on the keys of my
midi controller, allowing me to create the wobbly effect.

I suppose it sounds best on a system that has deep bass,
which I know is not a good thing, it should sound right on
any system.

I sent it to a friend who has better equipment to EQ the
track and he also performed a hi-boost on that bassline, but
to me it killed the mood I was going for with this track so
I kept it like this. I kinda wanted a muffled sound, but
still thanks for the advice, I might decide to take it
later.

fuck the mix then, make it like you want it to sound. and if
you want it to sound good everywhere, make it from your
puter speakers.. lol

or spend roughly 500 euro per speaker for a set of decent
monitors :P
Ur right tho, I made it how I wanted it to sound, which for
me, is an achievement in itself.
Anyways, I'm glad u thought it was a nice 1 :)

Computer speakers are a good example of shitty speakers, but
usually your mix will end up sounding muddy and bass heavy
on a pair of normal to good speakers when mixed under those
circumstances.
