is to smoke a joint, and put the tracks as the mood goes.
you can do this with itunes.
if you don't smoke, drink a beer. if you don't drink, kill yourself

since i feel inspired, i'll make an example.
once a certain age we were used to buy albums and listen the shit out of it, learning them almost 'by memory'. now life is faster, and the interfaces have changed, so the way of organizing and listening to music. it feels like losing an habit, with losing of conceptual values about the way those works were intended that we tend to forget, due to time passing. but gaining some other advantages, like the freedom to actually use music to draw a sound upon our day rather than try to draw our day upon a music. this is only thanks to huge accessibility though.
i'm so amused, i'm almost to wash dishes.

the best way to listen to music is with your ears, or if you're blind with your vibration senses.

Call me old fashioned but I still enjoy putting on a whole album and letting it play all the way through.
On top of this, I rarely drink and haven't smoked in months. Music sounds just as great.

I was listening to Snares several weeks ago on JWH-073, and that shit was nuts. 073 really brought out the darker side. A similar effect might be accomplished with a really trippy sativa smoke.
But in general- yah, music and fine smoke is wonderful!!! (though, smoking quality herb and listening to bad American country could suck pretty hard)

Yah, cars are pretty good for "listening environment tests", as they cut out a lot of ambient noise. I used to test demos in my friend's car.
If one hooks up their laptop to the car audio input, it might be a pretty comfortable production environment (put front seats down, sit in the middle of the back... couch).

There is no best way to listen to music. There will be situations in your life when you enjoy music thats its.
Dancing, singing, learning it is those activities which adds pleasure to listening to music for me.

haha! that's a pretty cool idea
the story of a guy who can't afford a studio who takes the skeleton of a car to a junkyard and spends only for a couple of super speakers.
call warp films --> money made

Well, that too, but I was writing more about the ambient-sound dampening qualities of a car. Close the doors, and everything goes SILENT (...a good car, anyway). It's like being in a music studio, inside of a speaker.

i have sadly started using djay for mac as my main music listener. it's not for spinning proper sets, but if you want to just sit down and listen to some tchunes it lets me satisfy my urge to only put on songs for a minute each.
plus i get to scratch with my trackpad, which is super bonus points when drunk.

I think my humor is just too subtle.
My jokes included a) that blind people (rather than deaf people) would have to enjoy music through vibration, and b) that seeing the movie 2012 would provide insight into whether or not music would end in that year.
Apologies for any confusion.
