its generally considered okay if you eat them
afterwards
like, while they're still alive ?

hey, i wonder what it's like to work in slaughter house. do
you dream about shattered flesh and blood then ?

ghost of dead cows haunt you in your sleep and stare at you
with their large cow-eyes.

if that happens every night you might go mad after a year or
much earlier, no ? are there support groups and/or emergency
therapist available for slaughterhouse workers ?

i think you'd become desensitised to it pretty quick.

while chopping meat i'd play myself songs on mp3 player like
"money is flesh" on repeat just to survive the 8-hour
working routine

Is it okay to hit animals? Only if by "animals" you mean
"children covered in barbecue sauce", and by "hit", you mean
"eat".

funny thing is animals can switch from feeling sad to happy
very quickly. if i smack my cat he gets low to the ground
and his ears pin back, but then i stroke him and he is happy
again, then repeat the process

'Not been here long no. Obara wins!

Opinions here seem mixed, I was hoping for a quick answer.
Am I in the right forum?

Refrain except when very important for the animal or other
people and things (eg to encourage/teach it to avoid danger
or destroy things).
