Announced today: £9,000 per year? Bullshit!
I think this is a travesty!
What your thoughts on this whole issue?

you're going to get raped to fuck by taxation for the rest of your life in a million other areas so i guess it doesn't really matter. i'm sure it will all balance out.
fact is, the universities will either get their money from government grants or they'll get it from tuition fees

Was capped at £3,290 per year before for all universities. But now the cap has been raised (by almost 300%) to £9,000 per year. If a uni wants to charge more than £6,000 though, they will have to offer other stuff like Summer school and more grants and bursaries for students. This will still mean that Oxbridge universities will charge £9,000, justifying this with high cost of tutors, which might mean they won't be forced to offer bursaries, leading to massive inequality in education- only the rich can go to the "best" universities. :(
In honesty though, I am not sure if I agree with all the student protests. Something did probably have to be done by government, with all the cuts and the fact that more and more people are going to university now. Summit's gotta give! I am lucky I have avoided the increase of fees for uni, though it might stop me doing an MA or PGCSE. If I have kids it will effect them too.

Doubt I will live in UK for much longer, for partly the taxation reason.
Government is still subsidising in some areas. They are gonna pay for the first year for those with parents earning less than 25k. Also, they will loan all the money for tuition fees. Bursaries/grants don't seem to be effected that much.

Why do I have to choose?
Cos society depends on at least one to remain economically sustainable?
If so, :(
Can I just run away somewhere else please?

Naive hopeful people. Can you blame them for having faith in a positive, moral, hopeful party who didn't know any better until they actually got into power?
Nick Clegg is a victim of circumstance, really. But I still have no sympathy for him.
