the average male will encounter 5 to 7 potentially violent situations in his life time which will involve being confronted by someone. it obviously changes depending on where you live You could also find yourself in a situation where someone else is being confronted and you have the option to help or not. If you saw a young vunrable girl being harrased or beaten up by some peope, would you intervien?? or just pretend not to notice and ignore it? do we have a human instinct to help someone in trouble? or if not is it selfish or wrong to ignore it? |

it would be nice if someone could do something, but i think the sort of person who does intervien is in a minority, I have been in this situation once and had to defend myself from a drunk guy walking home with my friend. we both had this guy pinned on the ground, he was lashing out and even trying to bite us, there was a group of people walking past but no one helped us or called the police, they just sort of walked on and got out of the way quickly. so we just had to run off and eventually hide in someones garden... but i don't blame the people for not acting because it's just fear of being hurt |

Very long ago...1993...at school. A friend had started hanging out with others. I kicked one of his tooth out. He did start the fight. We were paraded in-front of the school as punishment. I thought it was a really easy non-punishment at the time. I told my parents casually about it !lol The school didn't even bother to inform them. It is very rare that I hit any one. |

I did punch someone in the face when i was... 12, 13 or so? He was randomly and openly making fun of me and a mate, had no clue who he was so i followed him onto a bridge close to his home and took care of him and nearly threw him over the rail into the water. Years later ran into him and his 'foreign friends' in a pub and he tried to have a go at me until the doorman threw him onto the curve and beat him up right on the spot. His life might be very ruined, sure hope so the little cunt. |

Speaking of headbutts, one of my favorite moves in elementary school was a back-headbutt, which for some reason came in handy quite often. So basically anyone grabbing from behind received immediate face-pain. In YMCA in 5th grade or so, some kid was holding me from behind and I back-butthead his face a couple/few times... he spit out some teeth. It's funny cuz at elementary school age, every time some bully/punks were pulling some shit and then you let them have it, they'd always back down and say they were joking, when they obviously were not. A trip down violence nostalgia lane... Yah, I almost forgot how much I used to use that. |
